Abstract
The Covid-19 pandemic has brought significant changes and challenges to the education system, one of which is the increased use of digital learning media. This study aims to examine the problems encountered in utilizing digital media for learning during the pandemic. The study employed a triangulation method, comprising participatory observation, interviews, and documentation, to collect data. The data was then analyzed and described through stages of reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings revealed that the shift from traditional to digital media for learning was not fully implemented in many remote areas of Indonesia, particularly Tana Toraja, in South Sulawesi. The success of learning during the pandemic cannot be solely measured by the use of digital media, but also by the students’ awareness and motivation. This research hopes to provide insight for education stakeholders to improve and enhance the quality of education in the digital age.
